Introducing "Korowai O Te Ngahere", a collection of lush, serene, moss oases, hand sculpted in polymer clay.

In Te Reo Māori, "Ngahere" means Forest and "Korowai" typically means "blanket" or "covering," which beautifully captures the essence of a moss wall's verdant texture. Each art piece in this collection "Rangimārie", "Aumārie" and "Wakamārie", is intended to evoke tranquility into your space.
Initially, these artworks were inspired by the diverse and abundant mossy landscapes of Aotearoa, New Zealand. But the meanings of them have evolved organically as I navigate the wild journey of motherhood. It can be quite chaotic and over stimulating at times, but amoungst these are the quiet moments of calm that give me time to reflect on how beautiful the journey is.
